Job description

Ideal Candidate must have a valid Guidewire certification and the following work experience for this position. You are expected to travel 50-80% of the time (should be ready to travel across Europe for GW projects) – it can be 4 days in any EU location & Friday can be from Warsaw office / WFH).

Open for both Permanent and Contract roles.


Job Description:

Must have 6 years in a web-based Enterprise architecture environments including- 

● 2-3 years of relevant project implementation experience
● Works on project tasks with limited guidance from others
● Demonstrates consistent ability to follow Guidewire best practices and standards
● Helps team members, customers, or partners  troubleshoot problems during development
● Needs some guidance to accurately estimate project tasks
● Able to demonstrate and explain OOTB (out-of-the box) product features in specified area of expertise to team members, customers, or partners

● Leads by example
● May guide customer resources on development activities
● Identifies improvement areas for the project

● Gains acceptance as a reliable resource to work on Guidewire products
● Assists with tactical decision making
● Fosters a climate of trust and respect with partners during all phases of project collaboration
● Engages partners by presenting ideas and recommendations for customer project success

● Able to communicate effectively with customers, partners, and colleagues remotely about products and services
● Listens and clearly presents information and facts in a logical manner, using appropriate phrasing and vocabulary
● Shares information and asks questions prior to taking action

● Helps resolve basic problems with limited guidance from others 
● Able to determine when to do further investigation versus when to seek assistance from a colleague
● Resolves problems with help from others and escalates issues appropriately

● Works with the customer and Guidewire employees to design, code, test, and document simple programs
● Applies Guidewire best practices

● Requires limited guidance from others when configuring a Guidewire product
● Ensures configuration items and related documentation are complete, current, and accurate 

● Develops integrations between third party systems and Guidewire products
● Carries out and reports fault diagnosis relating to moderately complex problems 

● Works in a self-initiated manner with accountability for meeting objectives
● Proactively seeks feedback from others

● Experience in Development and/or Stabilization phases
● Introductory knowledge and application of core methodology assets for project delivery phases

● Completed additional training on advanced topics not covered during certification training

● Creates, submits, and corrects time and expense reports in a timely manner using the PSA
● Uses company resources in a responsible and cost-conscious manner
